Thank You!

Presented by

Louis Stone

Lou left a legacy of caring and compassion for the people of New Haven.  He was born and raised in New Haven, and he was committed to and proud of his community.

On June 30, 2014, Lou's friends, family, and colleagues gathered at New Haven Country Club for a day to remember him.  Many warm and endearing stories were shared among those in attendance.

After a full day of golf, the Stone family was presented with the gavel Lou used during his time as CBC board chairman.  His wife Susan accepted the gavel and shared with everyone fond and fun memories of her late husband.  Further, current CBC board president Karen DuBois-Walton read a proclamation from New Haven Mayor Toni Harp that declared the day "Louis Stone Day."

While the reason for gathering was somber, everyone agreed it was a happy celebration of a life well lived.  Thank you to everyone who participated in and supported the Louis Stone Memorial Golf Tournament.  Please visit our photo gallery that tells the story of the day.
